Thing #3
Using a blog as a teacher sounds like such a fun and helpful thing. With a blog I can communicate with different teachers and get ideas about ways to help teach my students. Also I can share stories about how different things I have tried in my classroom were successful or need some work. This can be great communication tool with the parent of my students. They can look at my blog and see what I am doing in my classroom and hopefully come visit and participate with their child.

I think that there are some teachers who already use blogging as a form of communication with parents. Think about all the things that we could use blogging for in the classroom as well. Think about all the uses that we could have from it with students and how we could teach our students to communicate with one another through blogs. I think that if we are teaching the children how to communicate through blogs we are also teaching them how to stay current with technology. Students could created blogs about the things that are going on in the classroom as well as in the school. Just think of the possibilities that we have with this great tool.
